Guidelines

Please read these guidelines in full before submitting an advert to us. If you do not follow these guidelines, we cannot advertise for you.

If your team is registered with SYFA and you wish to advertise for players/coaches or other volunteers, please complete the form below.

  • This should be from/on behalf of a registered official of the team.
  • Please state your full name and position in the message – or the full name and position of the person you are sending on behalf of.
  • Contact should include a name and telephone number/email address for a registered official.
  • Please do not include ‘experienced’ (or anything which indicates that a player should have experience) in your player adverts. We are a Grassroots Association who thrive purely on football development. We believe every player should have the chance, will will not post any ads of this nature.
  • If adding in the league level to your advert, please make sure this is beside either the age group of the team or beside the league information. We are unable to post adverts which have the level next to ‘players wanted’ or ‘looking for players’ etc. This again indicates that you are looking for players of a certain level, with experience.
  • Please be reminded that posts should not ask for players to contact you directly; you should state clearly that a parent/guardian should get in touch with you.

If you are the parent/guardian of a player seeking a team, and wish to advertise on our page, please use the below form.

  • Adverts must come in from parent/guardian/responsible adult, over the age of 18 years. We will not be able to post adverts with any players direct contact details on them, regardless of age.
  • Please make sure players are released from their previous team, or have written permission from their current team, before going along to train with a new team.
  • It is an offence for teams to allow players registered to another club to train with them without written consent from the club the player is currently registered with.
  • Players can move club at any time and parents/carers should put a request to unregister players, in writing, to team secretaries.

If you would like to include a club badge or other relevant image, please send this over and we will do our best to post alongside your advert.

Images should ideally be square and no greater than 2MB.

If you have artwork produced for your advert, please feel free to send this as well as the completed form.

We will not be able to post your image if it is submitted blurry.

Please do not send adverts if the contact person(s) on the form are not registered official(s) of the club. These adverts will NOT be posted.
