Disciplinary Outcomes
The Scottish Youth FA is committed to creating a safe, positive, respectful and enjoyable football environment for every young player involved in our game. We are equally committed to ensuring that the thousands of volunteers who give their time to youth football can carry out their roles in a safe, supportive and respectful environment.
While the overwhelming majority of players, coaches, officials and volunteers represent youth football positively, standards of behaviour sometimes fall below what we expect within our game. The SYFA takes unacceptable conduct and indiscipline seriously and is committed to challenging behaviour that undermines the values, reputation and enjoyment of youth football.
This page provides information about decisions and outcomes from the SYFA General Purposes Committee and Appeals Committee. By publishing appropriate disciplinary outcomes, the SYFA aims to promote transparency, reinforce expected standards of conduct and demonstrate that breaches of our rules and unacceptable behaviour are addressed through the appropriate disciplinary processes.
Our message is clear: everyone involved in youth football has a responsibility to uphold the standards of behaviour expected within our game and to help ensure football remains a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for all.
