We’re excited to announce the SYFA and inspiresport Coach & Club Volunteer Education Trip – an incredible opportunity for coaches and club volunteers to develop their skills and gain valuable experience.

The aim is to create a trip that promotes learning, inspires coaches and volunteers, and brings innovative ideas back into our grassroots environments.

Where and when?

• Venue: Girona FC – Spain
• Dates: 18–20 February 2026 or 25–27 February 2026

We have two provisional dates, and applicants must be available for both.

The confirmed travel dates will be announced on 19 December, once successful applicants have been selected.

Who Can Apply?

Open to SYFA member club coaches and volunteers who hold:

• A relevant coaching certificate
• A minimum 3 years coaching experience
• A valid PVG
• A current passport

Judging Panel & Selection Process 

All applications will be reviewed by a judging panel comprising representatives from SYFA and inspiresport.

The panel will assess each application based on:

• Eligibility compliance (coaching certificate, PVG, passport)
• Coaching experience and club involvement
• Commitment to development (quality of motivation statement)
• Potential impact on grassroots football upon return
• Strength of reference / endorsement from your club, league official, or region

Successful applicants will be selected through a transparent scoring process, ensuring fairness and consistency.
