Guidelines

Please read these guidelines in full before submitting an advert to us. If you do not follow these guidelines, we cannot advertise for you.

If your team is registered with the SYFA and you would like to advertise for players, coaches or other volunteers, please complete the form below.

Please note the following:

  • The form must be completed by, or on behalf of, a registered team official.
  • Please provide the full name and position of the registered official completing the form, or the full name and position of the official you are submitting the advert on behalf of.
  • Contact details must be for a registered team official and should include their name and either a telephone number, email address, or both.
  • Any social media accounts provided must belong to the team or club, not an individual.

If you are the parent, guardian or responsible adult of a player looking for a team and would like to advertise on our page, please complete the form below.

Please note the following:

  • All adverts must be submitted by a parent, guardian or responsible adult aged 18 or over. We cannot publish adverts containing any player’s direct contact details, regardless of their age.
  • Players must be released from their current team before attending training with another team, or have written permission from their current club to do so.
  • Teams must not allow a player registered with another club to train with them without written consent from the club the player is currently registered with.
  • Players can move clubs at any time. Parents/carers should submit a written request to the team secretary to have the player deregistered from their current team.
  • If someone would like to include a club badge or other relevant image, they can send it with their completed form and we will do our best to include it with the advert. They must have written permission to submit any images of players for use on our website.
  • Images should ideally be square and no larger than 2MB.
  • Artwork specifically created for an advert can also be submitted alongside the completed form.
  • Advert artwork must not request players with previous experience or players at a particular playing level.
  • We also cannot publish adverts for “Open Trials”.
  • Blurry or poor-quality images cannot be used and may not be included with the advert.
  • The contact person(s) listed on a team advert must be a registered official of the club. If the contact details provided are not for registered club officials, the advert will not be posted.
